I have spent much time on the phone and web trying to find out what is and isn't supported as far as getting invoicing data into QB.

The Support desk said that the only way I could get data into QB was an Excel spreadsheet, even that wasn't really supported. I asked what was being supported and the help desk guy rambled on about something (I found him - like most the other QB support VERY hard to understand). In essence I have no idea how I can reliably get data from our custom in house applications into QB.

An older version of our main app used a IIF file to import data, however we had to manually set the TAX code on each Invoice / Statement. We are still stuck with the same issue and need to find a better solution, as I believe nobody has a working IIF format to import Invoice data into 2008/2009.

Does anybody know of somebody that specialises in this area who could offer some advice - or even write something (if the price is right)?
