Rental Income / tax in PP2011...doesn
« on: November 09, 2010, 11:48:42 AM »

What am I doing wrong here??

So I track rental property income using split transactions like this:

When I ask for a YTD report, it looks correct. My net rental income is $178.91:

BUT, in "tax planner" it reports the rental income as $13,172.09 (i.e. total income PLUS total expenses, instead of total income MINUS total expenses):

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Many thanks,
Colin

I would contact Graham Boast at www.quickbookshelp.com.au - he is a Quicken Guru. He can maybe do a remote session with you for 15 mins if he can fix the issue - worth contacting him anyway.

Jason
