I'm using QB Pro 2008-2009. I want a Profit & Loss report net of tax and QB advises "To generate the  report net of tax, press the Customise button and select Net Tax", but where is this button please?

My version of QuickBooks has a button saying "Modify Report". See if that is any help.

Could you specify exactly what it is you want the report to show?

"Profit & Loss report net of tax"

going to Reports > Company & financial > Profit Loss standard

will generate a profit loss report which will not include tax(GST) you then simply change the dates for the period of time you wish to report on.

this will show you your total income from sales/services.

your total expenses/running costs

and your net income, (total income - total expenses)

If what you meant by "Profit & Loss report net of tax" you want to know how much gst you have collected from customers or how much gst you have paid to suppliers this is a entirely different report you must generate.
