Using Classes and funds tranfer
Using Classes and funds tranfer
« on: February 03, 2010, 09:50:53 AM »

Hi I am currenly using classes to indentify one group of transactions, so I can produce a report just showing them, this seems to be working very well, however I want to apply this class to funds transfered between two banking accounts,on the transfer page there is no option for class slection .
Can I add this some how?? Or is there an other way to record a transfer of money between accounts that will show up on a class report.
Every time I try to search the the help files I get the pop up window say an error has occured Huh
Any help would be greatly appreciated , and of course I need to produce the report NOW.
Thanks

Hi There

This seems very farmilar so I may have answered this on another forum.

Why don't you just do a general journal for the transfer instead.  You should have the flexibility to add the class to each line of the transaction then.

Cheers
