I belive I posted this sometime ago, but thought I would again as there seems to be some knowledgable peoples on the boards at the moment. 

Essentially since Feb 11 when we upgraded our Symantec antivirus, we have not been able to use Quickbooks on the server to host approprately.  The only way it works is if the actual data file is running on the hosting machine.  However, this prevents other users entering our other data file, as the server can only run one data file at a time.  Previously the Quickbooks Manager would manage mutiple files running by users on the PCs. 

The error we continue to receive is "Unable to open database.  The file is being used by another user when trying to open my compnay file."

Thankfully we have been able to get around this and just use one company file at a time, however this is very unproductive as when we need to other data file, we all have to log out of the one we in.  Very frustrating.

We have been working with Quickbooks since Feb, and they have still not been able to resolve the issue.  Sadly it appears there is no means getting the developers to look into the issue, or make a formal customer complaint.

Anyone else have this problem or recommend what actions we could take.
