I recently installed Quickbooks Premier 08/09 & POS.

Was going so good so far.. but i have got a problem.

In Quick Books Premier i add a Item to the Product List, lets say its a Book and its Barcode is 1001 , I enter in all the details regarding the item.

Now i save and close, open up POS admin, import in the info from Quickbooks. All is good so far.

But When i get to Scanning the Item into Quickbooks POS Terminal. it only shows the barcode "1001" but if i Press a button "Barcode Number" it then shows it up as the Item "Book" and the Price i set.

Is there a Setting i have missed that makes it enters the Item & Price instead of just printing the barcode Number?

I feel like i have missed one small setting and thats why im having this problem

This is a setting issue in POS Terminal.

Edit the Touchscreen Keyboard Layout > Barcode Number function key and check the settings associated with this function key.
