Entering hourly rate with more than 2 decimal places.
« on: November 06, 2008, 06:55:07 PM »

I'm working on Quickbooks QBi Plus 2008/09 and when setting up the payroll it won't let me put the pay rate with more than 2 decimal places. Is there anyway to do this. The pays have already been calculated and paid for the last 3 months and I was needing to enter them into the new program.

You need to set the hourly rate up in the employees payroll data section (in the employee centre).

Here you can set the rate up to 5 decimal places. Do this BEFORE you process the pays and change if necessary between pay runs (if the employee has had an increase somewhere in the 3 months).
