We are trying to clean up some old invoices that were either paid incorrectly or put in by mistake.  If I were to delete these, how would that affect prior and/or current year's expenses/balances?

How do I get rid of extra Payables that do not apply?

It depends on whether you are on a CASH or ACCRUAL basis for GST in terms of effecting your data, and whether you have had a tax return done for the applicable years.

Hi Jason

It might be easier to look at applying a credit in the current period.

Would require a little bit of fiddling around, but at least that way you will correctly report any GST that might have to be adjusted for.
