How can the YTD figure in pay slips go down in a subsequent pay slip? One of our employees noticed it when I sent him a number of consecutive pay slips in one go. I checked all employees' pay slips, and found that a change has happened to two of the three employees, but not even at the same pay period. On hourly pay, car allowance and PAYG tax, the YTD figure went down for one employee in the second pay period in November last year. For the other employee, in the third pay period in November, the YTD figures appear at first glance to be OK, but one of his rates has disappeared completely. He usually gets paid one rate for tech, one rate for consultancy. The consultancy category disappeared from his pay slip, obviously affecting his overall YTD figure.
It appears that I may be dealing with more than one glitch here. I must get this sorted before reconciling wages and PAYG for the end of the tax year.

I responded to other threads and that made mine go further down the list. Sorry to reply to my own, but my issue is urgent because we are so near the end of financial year!!

If you are using qb 08/09 there was a bug in the release if you go to the updates page there is a patch that fixes this ytd problem hope this helps
