gst not showing up in tax summary report when general journal adjustment is done

I am writing off a bill not to bad debts and the general journal entry i entered is not showing up in my cash bas tax summary report and therefore the gst is wrong for the bas how do i get it to show on the report

Have you assigned a GST code to the transaction? I find Quickbooks can be a little difficult with its allocation of GST. Let me know how you go this this.

HelLo Carrie,
Sorry about length of reply. Yes have put correct GST codes in gj but do not show up in BAS report. Would like my changes to show in BAS report but do I need to do a billcredit or an adjustment note for that to happen.
